Students at the Welcome to the BizLife event were treated to a complete look at the best of the College of Business at Florida International University (FIU): friendly staff and students, a variety of organizations and services, plenty of pizza and a photo op with Roary.

Held August 30^th in the College of Business Complex lobby, the event was designed as an informal way to familiarize new students with the school’s wide range of offerings. While previous years’ events showcased student organizations, this year’s also included Career Management Services, the Pino Global Entrepreneurship Center and other college services, said student relations coordinator Ileana M. Canizares (BBA ’12).

This year’s welcome event also served as an introduction to the college for the first class of directly admitted freshmen, as well as transfers and upperclassmen.
