Former Florida International University President Modesto “Mitch” Maidique has been invited to be a visiting professor at the Harvard Business School this fall.
While there, Maidique will mainly extend his research on effective CEO decision-making, his area of expertise. He will also work with colleagues participating in the Harvard Leadership Initiative exploring the process through which leaders make major decisions.
“In these challenging economic times, we need strong leadership and sound decisions,” Maidique said in a prepared statement. “Working along some of the best minds in this field at Harvard, we can further understand the difference between good and bad CEO decisions.”
