FIU Scholarship Offered to A Downtowner
One lucky college student may get the chance to get graduate business degree from Florida International University for free. But you have to live or work in downtown Miami. The Miami Downtown Development Authority said Friday that 100 percent of the tuition will be awarded for someone to receive an MBA from Florida International University’s Chapman Graduate School of Business. It’s new location is in the heart of downtown’s Brickell Financial District. FIU President Mark B. Rosenberg said the campus was expanded because of the significant increase in residential and commercial activity within the City’s urban core. Applications for the scholarship, valued at $45,000, are currently being accepted through the Miami DDA website.
