The search is on for a new dean of Florida International University’s College of Business Administration.
The ideal candidate will be an effective fundraiser, able to “develop a strong research agenda with faculty” and have global business experience, said FIU Provost Douglas Wartzok.
“The international is going to weight very highly because that’s where we have our strongest reputation,” Dr. Wartzok said.
Dean openings are usually filled through a national search, Dr. Wartzok said, with applications screened by a committee including students, faculty and members of the school’s Community Advisory Board.
