Outside institutions offering master’s degree in business such as Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management and the Manchester Business School may have set up shop in Mimai-Dade, but local institutions say they’re still going strong.
Angel Burgos, executive director of Florida International University’s MBA program, said that while outside business school offers “healthy competition,” FIU has “done a lot to try to meet needs of the market.”
The school offers seven degrees under its MBA program. The program includes both online and in-person option, allowing students to study at home or in Miami-Dade or Broward counties.
