Department of Management and International Business

Nathan Hiller, associate professor and Knight Ridder Center Research Fellow, was quoted in the article “Creating Effective Hi-Po Programs” by William Atkinson appearing in the January 15, 2015 issue of Human Resource Executive magazine. In addition, his article, “Your Leadership Beliefs: Why Does It Matter,” was published in the January 2015 issue of Warren Bennis’ Leadership Excellence Essentials.

Hock-Peng Sin, assistant professor, co-authored the article “Small Sample Mediation Testing: Misplaced Confidence in Bootstrapped Confidence” which appeared in a recent issue of the Journal of Applied Psychology.

Department of Marketing

Kimberly Taylor, associate professor of marketing, was quoted in a story “Mobile businesses: Hair salons, gyms, furniture store now come to you” by Johnny Diaz in the Sun-Sentinel on December 31, 2014.

Assistant Professor Peter Magnusson’s paper “Beyond Anger: A Deeper Look at Consumer Animosity” has been accepted for publication in the Journal of International Business Studies.

Tibor and Sheila Hollo School of Real Estate

Eli Beracha, assistant professor, has had two articles he has co-authored accepted for publication. “The Capitalization of Land Erosion in Housing Pricing” has been accepted by the Journal of Real Estate Research and “The Effect of Pricing Strategy on Home Selection and Transaction Prices: An Investigation of the Left-Most Digit Effect” has been accepted by the Journal of Housing Research. Also, a paper on housing pricing strategies co-authored by Beracha was the subject of an article titled “Change the listing price of your home by $1, and it may sell for thousands more” by Dina ElBoghdady in The Washington Post on December 11, 2014.

Eileen Cardelle, adjunct faculty member, was interviewed for a feature article in South Florida Hospital News regarding medical real estate, published September, 2014.
