FIU’s Online Corporate MBA marks third consecutive year in the Financial Times’ Top 20.

For the third straight year, the College of Business’ Online Corporate MBA program was ranked among the Top 20 in the Financial Times’ 2017 ranking of global online MBA programs.

FIU’s program ranked #16 on the list of online programs, which include universities from throughout the world. Rankings are based on criteria including alumni salary and increases, seniority, program diversity, and value for money. The College of Business’ Corporate MBA rose two spots to #4 in the Career Progress rank, which measures alumni’s level of seniority and the size of company they now work for versus three years ago on graduation.

“The rankings confirm that we consistently deliver high quality, innovative degrees that meet the needs of professionals who want to advance their careers with the flexibility of online programs,” said Jose M. Aldrich, acting dean of the College of Business.

The fully-online Corporate MBA was launched in 2009 and is consistently recognized for its focus on accessibility and immediacy, offering students increased convenience while learning at an accelerated rate using cohort-based models.

FIU’s College of Business is one of the early adopters of online education. The college launched a pilot project of ten online courses in 1999 and has continued to expand those offerings while introducing the latest technology.

Today, the College of Business’ online graduate degrees include the Corporate MBA and the Healthcare MBA as well as the Master in International Business, the Master of Science in International Real Estate and the Master of Science in Human Resource Management.
