The College of Business Administration has announced the appointment of eminent scholars along with new faculty appointments to the Knight Ridder Center and the Pino Entrepreneurship Center. The faculty members appointed to these positions initiate and maintain highly visible activities that stimulate research and educational initiatives with industry and professional associations.
“The college is pleased to acknowledge—with these special titles—faculty members whose professional activities and scholarship help further Florida International University’s (FIU) strengths as a public research institution,” said Joyce J. Elam, executive dean and James L. Knight Eminent Scholar Chair in Management Information Systems, who holds a PhD in operations research from University of Texas.
