  • The College of Business Administration has appointed Joseph L. Caruncho (BBA ’81), chief executive officer of Preferred Care Partners Corporation, chairman of its Dean’s Council.
  • Albert Oses (BS ’88) has been appointed board member of Miami Dade International Trade.
  • Emilio Vasquez (BA ’95) has been named Senior Vice President of the Coral Gables Market for Coconut Grove Bank.
  • Jose M. Ferrer (BBA ’96) was elected partner in the Miami office of law firm Baker & McKenzie.
  • Jhoanna Madden (BBA ’96) serves on the board of the National Society of Hispanic MBA’s South Florida Chapter as the vice president of university relations.
  • Manuel Velasquez (BBA ’98) has been promoted to customer service manager of the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in New York City.
  • Jorge Flores (MBA ’98), Robert Garcia (EMBA ’97), Andrea Padilla (BBA ’99), and Patricia Soffer (BS ’94) have joined the Alumni Circle, a group of senior-level alumni who work closely with the college’s administrators and deans to develop programs and initiatives to achieve the college’s goals.
  • The International Bank of Miami has named Brian San Miguel (BBA ’03) vice president of the executive banking group.
