HACU interns get inside view of government in Washington DC and Texas.

Ana Maria Silva and Maria Lau, both undergraduate students in international business and marketing in the College of Business Administration, experienced working for the government away from home thanks to a summer internship program offered by the Hispanic National Internship Program of the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU). Although the two worked for different agencies in different states, the end result was the same: relevant hands-on experience, great networking opportunities and eye-opening perspectives.

Miquel Lugo, another HNIP who interned in Washington, DC, was featured in an earlier article in BizNews.
